AIR

The Fontanarossa International Airport in Catania is the nearest and most convenient airport to Giardini-Naxos. It is located at about 55 km from Giardini Naxos and it  is connected by direct flights with the main Italian cities and with many European cities such as Muenich (by Lufthansa), Berlin (Air Berlin), London (British Airways).

BUS

From the airport there is a direct bus to Taormina (INTERBUS), which stops in Giardini-Naxos. The "Recanati" bus stop is the your destination, 5 min walk from Atahotel Naxos Beach and Conference Venue. Tickets can be purchased at the  airport and cost 8,20 €. The journey takes about 1h. Buses typically leave every hour. The bus stop is about a hundred meters to the right when exiting the airport.

TAXI

There are several Taxi companies operating inside the airport, applying different rates. The journey takes about one hour.
We recommend you to call upon your arrival.

Please call at your arrival, in ten minutes they will be at the meeting point (on your arrival take the stairs to the upper level “ departure terminal”)

Other taxi companies can be found on the ground floor (at the arrivals).

CAR

It is possible to rent a car at the parking lot in front of the airport. All major rental companies are present (Avis, Hertz, Maggiore, Auto Europe). Giardini Naxos can be reached in about one hour along the A18 motorway towards Messina and exit at Giardini-Naxos.
