All foreigners intending to enter Italy must have an Identity Card (UE citizens) or a valid passport (non-EU citizens). Someone may need a Visa before coming. Please consult your local passport authority or the Italian Diplomatic and Consular Representations in your Country of residence about the information they need.

To find out if you need a Visa for Italy and where you can submit your application to obtain it, please click visit now the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: http://www.esteri.it/visti/index_eng.asp

If you need an invitation letter to obtain your Visa, please send your request to the BEPU-2018 Organizing Committee (https://www.nineeng.com/bepu/index.php/contact) specifying your name, institution, postal address and providing a copy of your passport. Please notice that the conference secretariat will then issue the letter of invitation only if you have already registered to the conference.

The Conference Secretariat is unable to assist with processing or obtaining Visa applications, other than verifying your intention to attend the Conference. Visas are granted at the discretion of the Italian Diplomatic and Consular Representations in your country of residence .

Please ensure that you leave plenty of time for your visa application to be processed as this can sometimes take several weeks or longer. You are advised to make visa application at your earliest convenience if it is needed.
